The fifth season of BBC’s The Voice UK came to a close this past weekend, naming reality show veteran Kevin Simm as the winner. This year, the top finalists each recorded their own version of an original cut, intended to be released as their debut single as a Universal Music recording artist upon winning the competition. Simm‘s song, “All You Good Friends,” is a ballad co-written by Reservoir writers Jamie Hartman and Phil Bentley. Simm released his cut after being crowned victorious and the single immediately jumped to #2 on the Capitol Radio Charts and #2 on the UK iTunes singles chart.
