NICKI WELLS CUT ‘RAIN’ FEATURED IN GOOGLE’S ‘INDIA IN A DAY’

Nicki Wells’ “Rain” is featured in the new first-look trailer for Google’s India In A Day feature length film. The film, directed by Richie Mehta and executive produced by Ridley Scott and Anurag Kashyap, tells the story of a single day in India, as told from the perspectives of the many people whose lives continue to be transformed by the internet. It was shot by citizens across the country on October 10, 2015 and submissions were edited together for a full length feature film.
“Rain” is featured on Wells’ upcoming debut album, due out this year. She recently completed a UK tour with her mentor and fellow Reservoir artist Nitin Sawhney, in support of his album Dystopian Dream.
