11 BRIT AWARDS NOMINATIONS FOR RESERVOIR & REVERB MUSIC

The United Kingdom’s BRIT Awards have announced nominations today for the country’s highest pop music praise. We are pleased to announce that Reservoir writers have earned a total of 11 nominations for their involvement in popular music across the pond.
“How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris + Disciples featuring (and co-written by) Ina Wroldsen is nominated for British Single With Capital, while the music video starring Gigi Hadid earned a nomination for British Artist Video Of The Year. In addition, Calvin Harris picked up a nomination for British Male Solo Artist.
James Bay’s Chaos And The Calm is nominated for Mastercard British Album Of The Year. The album features the cut “Move Together” written by Jamie Hartman. Grammy nominated Bay also secured nominations for British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
“Hold My Hand” by Jess Glynne and co-written by Ina Wroldsen is nominated for British Single With Capital. Glynne is also nominated for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Drake picked up a nomination for International Male Solo Artist. His 2015 album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late features Reservoir cut “6 Man”, which samples The Roots’ “You Got Me”, written by Scott Storch.
Major Lazer is nominated for International Group. Their massive 2015 hit “Lean On” features MØ who also co-wrote the track.
Nominations are awarded based on votes cast by a voting academy consisting over 1,000 representatives from 15 sectors of the music industry. The awards will be handed out on February 24, 2016.
