Budweiser’s Made In America Festival took over Philadelphia last weekend, as stars poured into the soul-centric city for a two-day celebration.
Curated by rapper-turned-mogul Jay-Z, Made In America featured performers ranging from trendy radio kilers A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; EDM mainstays Calvin Harris and Deadmau5; rap trailblazers Public Enemy; indie rock favorites Phoenix and Cloud Nothings; rising R&B stars Solange and Miguel; and, naturally, Mrs. Carter.
2 Chainz reportedly wowed the crowd with hits from his hugely successful debut album, Based On A T.R.U. Story, and broke out a new tune from his upcoming album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time–“Netflix” featuring Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas–for the first time.
A documentary of the making-of Made In America is scheduled to premiere on September 7th at the Toronto International Film Festival, and then to air on October 11th on the cable network Showtime.
