“READY OR NOT” MAKES TOP SPOTIFY STREAMS IN U.K.

As many record labels can attest to, musical content streaming increasingly seeks to overtake music ownership. As the industry continues to transition, music streaming giant Spotify has become as important a reference point when discussing an artist or song’s popularity as the Billboard charts or radio stats.
Yahoo! Music, formerly the premier player in music streaming itself, rounded up Spotify’s top ten most streamed tracks in the U.S. and U.K. at the end of March.
Bridgit Mendler’s Gold single “Ready Or Not,” featuring an interpolation of the opening line of classic Delfonics song, “Ready Or Not Here I come (Can’t Hide From Love),” made the list in the U.K.; see the others below and on Yahoo! Music:
