BIG & RICH’S “SAVE A HORSE” FEATURED IN SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER ‘MAGIC MIKE’

Reservoir is proud to announce that Big & Rich’s 2004 country-rock hit, “Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy),” is featured in the Warner Brothers comedy Magic Mike, released in theaters June 29. The movie follows a male exotic dancer, living with his sister and performing at a male strip club while trying to get his life in order. Big & Rich’s “Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)” appears in one of the movie’s dance scenes.
Starring rom-com mainstays Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, and Olivia Munn, Magic Mike opened to an impressive $39.2 million in box office sales and several positive reviews. To highlight just some of the praise, ABC News writes that Magic Mike is “funny and smart,” while The New York Times declares that the film simply “works—beautifully.”
