Korean boyband TVXQ released their sixth album, Time, yesterday, sparking a buying spree that catipulted the release to #1 on Oricon’s daily album sales chart. Purchases of Time, which was released in three different formats, topped 160,000 copies, blowing away the #2 release at just under 46,000 copies.  The album is also in the top ten of the iTunes Japan albums chart.

Time’s fourteen tracks are an assortment of new music and previously released hits, including “Blink,” the futuristic pop track written in part by Reverb Music writer Andy Jackson.

TVXQ are prearing for a tour throughout Eastern Asia beginning in April.
