Rapper Young M.A released her latest album Off The Yak, today. The 11-track project features hit singles “Successful,” “Off The Yak,” and “Hello Baby” feat. Fivio Foreign, alongside collaborations with Rubi Rose, Max YB, and Wap5star.

Upon release, “Successful” was named Grungecake‘s ‘Song of the Day.’ The publication further detailed, “When it comes to outstanding performance and thoughtful bars, Brooklyn-bred rapper Young M.A brings it.” Single “Off The Yak” also earned rave reviews, with Complex noting she “pairs her smooth flow with the hyped energy of Drill to create a song that can be played in any setting.” The music video for the cut has racked up over 13M+ views on YouTube to date.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, during which the magazine dubbed her “the real mayor of New York City,” the rapper shared, “I don’t oversaturate things because I really take the music into consideration. I really take that seriously. So when I’m working on a body of work, I have to take my time. I have to make sure I like it and it’s right. At the end of the day, I don’t want to just put out anything.” That careful consideration continues to pay off; as Respect noted, Young M.A is one of most streamed artists in hip-hop, with over 2.4 billion total streams (and growing).
