5 Seconds of Summer released their latest single “No Shame,” co-written by Ali Tamposi, off upcoming album Calm. Atwood Magazine noted the infectious pop-rock cut “sounds flashy… but what it really pushes forward is the idea of seeking attention and how toxic and draining it can be,” which the group achieves by “openly laugh[ing] at society’s standards of fame, fortune, attention, and status while screaming the very declaration that every participant of a society full of shame would say – that they have none.” A leopard-print covered music video for “No Shame” was also released, in which Alt Press described as the band “poking fun at the idea of fame and the infatuation with seeking it.”

 

“No Shame” follows Ali Tamposi’s previous collaborations with 5SOS on “Teeth,” and “Easier,” among others, along with 6 co-writes off Camila Cabello’s new album Romance.
