Fans who stuck around for the second weekend of Coachella were in for not one, but two, 2 Chainz treats. As rapper Tyga was not on the festival bill this year, Major Lazer enlisted Chainz for the live performance of their new track “Bubble Butt,” on which Tyga originally appears.  Even as a stand-in, 2 Chainz took over the stage and got the crowd pumped.

The Major Lazer surprise followed 2 Chainz’ own set earlier that day–the second show-stopping set in as many weeks–during which the rapper brought out the rockers of Fall Out Boy to perform their collaborative remix to “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).” Before giving FOB a shout out, 2 Chainz told the crowd, “Not only did I come to save hip-hop, I came to save rock and roll too.”
