Ahead of its October 7th release, Nate Parker’s Nat Turner biopic The Birth of a Nationdebuts The Birth Of A Nation: The Inspired By Album, a sixteen-song collection of tracks from hip-hop and R&B greats including 2 Chainz, Nas, Ne-Yo, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne, out today via Atlantic Records.

2 Chainz contributes the biting track “Whip & A Chain” to the album, proclaiming “this is a new generation” over a powerful and cinematic beat. Of his participation, Chainz says he is “honored to play a part in this.“
